Final Narrative Idea

The final part of our thriller opening ended like this:

• Curtis walks into Jerry's flat and slowly closes the door behind him.
• He then holds a sharp knife by his side, readying himself to attack Jerry.
• Curtis stumbles into the kitchen of the flat.
• He finds Jerry laying on the floor already dead.
• In a panic Curtis leaves the flat in a hurry, going back down the stairs and up the road.

This idea was chosen as it was much easier to film than the other ideas. This idea was easier to shoot as my brother had to film as my other group member was unable to take part in the shoot. My brother has limited camera experience, so we couldn't make the shots that we wanted to complicated. The shots we were able to get though were very effective and important for the opening of out production, helping to add the generic conventions. The narrative structure works for the production as the new shots were able to fit into the production without a huge change having to be made, with the shots flowing smoothly.
